Monday morning Rush
Monday
morning Rush
The
sun sets
an evening ends....
Time's
lost,
But nothing costs
Is what you think.
It
doesn’t matter
Is what you convince.
But
then night falls
&
the picture changes.
All
the horrors now alive
Coz
you’ve not been on the drive.
Moments
gone
And jobs not done.
Panic
strikes, the dogs howl
Now the blame comes on a single vowel.
You
promise not to close your eyes
But
your eyelids don’t oblige.
You
drift in a trans so sweet n numb,
You wake up with your heart beating harder than the drum.
As the time slides & the heart subdues
Your
mind races to find a better excuse.
When you dress to battle the day
Take
a deep breath, may be settle to pray.
A
small voice says, “its ok it’s nothing much”,
“It's
just a Monday morning Rush”.
